Is Bloodline the best under-the-radar show no one talks about?

I thought it would be a one season show. It could have ended after one season and would have been fine. When they announced a second season I could imagine what they could possibly come up with. Holy shite the second season is even more gripping. The flashbacks are done well too. Short and to the point. I felt some of the Sarah drowning flashbacks were too repetitious in the first season.

I think it's only ok. Turning more soap opera-ish. It drags a lot. I started to lose interest in the second season.

It is slow, and you are going to lose peoples interest doing that way, especially a Netflix show that will be binged watched.
But the cast is great (I usually don't like to comment on acting but seems like good enough acting to me), and interesting storyline that is somewhat relateable to a lot of people (sort of family that from the outside has it all but from the inside has a huge amount of dysfunction).
To your point, I think it is definitely up there. Absolutely worth the watch if you have the time.

I love it, and feel like I am there when I watch it.
I think they could shave 2 seconds off of the long speechless stares that John, Meg, Kevin, the mother and John's wife constantly give each other. Would up the tempo considerably.

Good show, there has been a few threads on here about it.

Love it. Both seasons have been fantastic

Binge watched it in about 3 days last weekend. Sorry to see there probably won't be a season 3.

Yup. That's why I tell people to watch Rectify, but don't try to hurry through it. Watching the last two seasons week by week on Sundance has made it even better.

WTF? No S3? This show rocks and still has legs to make a couple of more seasons. Where is this speculation coming from out there?

They want to do a season 3 but there tax break with Florida is over and they aren't sure Netflix will pay for them to keep it in Florida

NOOOOOOOO something must be done
Posted on 7/9/16 at 11:55 pm to philly444
I know. Hopefully worst case it gets shopped around. It's Netflixs most streamed show

They kinda have to keep it in Florida. The setting is huge part of the show.

without spoilers, what is the show about? Drama, action, suspense?
I started episode one, but didn't finish. Based on this board, thinking about starting it.

I wasn't a fan of season 2
I didn't care about anyone in the show except John

I just finished S2.
S1 was great, I commented here a few times a while back.
S2 was a little more uneven, but still good IMO. The writing and characters were a bit more chaotic, but that's understandable given the context of the story.
S1 was a point to the end. S2 was the aftermath.
I really hope for a S3, even if it has to end there.
