Is 24 coming back for another season?

Solid ratings for a summer show, but I read that it's insanely expensive to make. FOX may not think it's worth the cost, but I'd love to see them come back.

I wouldn't write it off...
keifer's schedule isn't too busy so I'd imagine he's always up for another one and as long as it is a money maker for them, they'll keep making it.
I've been surprised by this season...I feel like the production values have gone down...season 2 looked cinematic

I was just happy to get the extra season, but now that we have seen it, I wouldn't mind more of this format. While this may not be the best season, I think the 12 episode arc can make a bad season okay just because we don't have to watch the 3-4 episode arcs of them finding out who the mole is, where the device is, what predicament Kim got herself into now. shite like that.
I am not going to compare 24 to game of Thrones or anything, but every episode this season ended with a pretty worthy cliffhanger, kinda like Thrones. All 12 episodes matter instead of 10 of the 24 like past years.
Less is more in the case of 24.
