George Hall's Indy character in the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles was 93 or so. At this pace, they may want to go that route . . .

What are some mythological artifacts people would be interested in Indy seeking out? Anything specific or just generic sword/cup/stone?
I would love to see a quest for the Palladium (statue of Athena said to protect Troy, and later Rome, and her army from falling - stolen by Odysseus in the Iliad). Makes sense that a foreign army/mercenary would want it, and the Siege of Troy is just realistic enough to ground the story. Plus it puts us back in the Mediterranean/North Africa which feels a lot more historic.

One of the first adventure games I ever played was called "Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis." It was on my old Mac, and it was just a point and click adventure, but dang, it was alot of fun and a great story. Would love to see that.

The Spear of Destiny would be good. Supposedly this new movie is set in the 60s and Hitler was after it in the 30s and 40s so they could do a story about someone trying to start the fourth reich. Indy loves fighting Nazis and leftists in Hollywood love having white men as the villain so this is a perfect excuse for them to have some Trump stand in as a new Nazi leader.

They did Commies in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and everyone hated it. The two most loved movies in the series are the two that deal with Nazis.

Have Indy search for the authentic shroud of Turin. They discover the one that is being held in Italy is a phony. When soaked in a very specific solution, Jesus Christ himself comes out of the real shroud, thus beginning the rapture. Humankind has been waiting around this whole time for the rapture when it has been up to us to set the wheels in motion.

Yup. Nazis are the classic Indiana Jones villain.
He's older, so you're gonna need some Nazis that escaped to Argentina seeking a powerful artifact to recover world domination. You're in South America, so the artifact should be a Biblical relic carried to the New World by Spanish Conquistadors. Most of the good relics are gone...maybe the true cross?
No monkeys, just searching the jungle for some Mayan or Aztec ruins that contain the cross AND NOT ALIENS. Practical effects only, skip CGI.
