In light of Snyder's take on the DC Universe, do you wish someone would revisit Watchmen?

I like Snyder's version of Watchmen fine but it really only succeeded in making live action footage of the comic panels. A lot of Moore's tones and themes feel like they're missing, otherwise.
So could a director like Christopher Nolan do better? Is it even worth making another run at a graphic novel that was largely said to be unfilmable?

Damon Lindelof is writing the HBO series remake. A series works better than a movie IMO.

Snyders vision of the current DCEU had been absolutely terrible...however, leave Watchmen alone, it's phenomenal and in my top 5 comic book movies.
