Somewhat interested thus far but it's a very slow moving show. Should I continue?

The last 4 episodes of season 1 are fantastic. We didn't care much for season 2 and didn't watch 3

It's a pretty slow show throughout the series. I think it's pretty good, but near as good as people on the board make it out to be. If you see something else you'd like to try, go for and get back to Bloodline if it doesn't work for you.

It’s very much worth sticking with but be warned that it ends terribly but that’s only the last two episodes of the series.
IIRC, the runners had a blueprint for 5 seasons.
The show was a Netflix/Sony joint venture.
During the filming of season 3, Florida nixed tax credits for film productions and without them the show became prohibitively expensive to film in the Keys so the runners were told to wrap it up. You can tell that’s what happened.
Some plot lines were hurriedly closed in a weird way and others were left completely unaddressed.
I’d recommend to keep going at least to the end of Season 1 and if you are not in at that point, bail.
Just know it flames at the end.
Edit for new info: Filming on location in the Keys made Bloodline cost about $8.5 million an episode. To put that in perspective, GoT has been at about $10 million/ep through most of it’s run.
When the tax credits were lost, the suits said “Oh, hell naw.”

Season 1 is the definition of perfect slow burn. Definitely stick with it through Season 1. Season 3 is the weakest. All in all, it's one of my favorite Netflix originals.

It's a show that started with so much promise only to end with the biggest WTF since ... well, since forever.
When you're done watching be sure to check out the Reddit thread on S3 and the finale. There are some interesting takes (spoilers) on what it was all about having to do with the flashbacks.

Loved season 1. Watch it, and leave it at that.
Anything after 1 wasn't good enough to end in one of the worst series endings I've ever seen.
Spare yourself the time of not venturing past 1, and spend it watching better things.

Season 1 was great, the rest is dogshit and the ending is one of the worst I’ve ever seen.

Just stop after season 2
Unfortunately the tax credits killed this show and season 3 was a disaster.

Season 1 was great
Season 2 was just bad. They advanced the plot all of 5 minutes over 10 episodes and made me hate every character on the show.
Didn't watch season 3.
Cut ties after season 1 finale, IMO.

Echoing what others have said, season 1 is fantastic. Watch the whole thing then quit.
The rest is pretty bad. Introduces various random pointless characters. The series wraps with established characters acting wildly out of character. It really seemed like they hadn't thought out the entire story and just made up the rest as they went along, adding unnecessary characters and events to try to keep it interesting.
But season 1 is absolutely A+ television and one of the best things I have ever watched.

If you want things to end in a way that makes sense or is remotely satisfying, stop watching.
Season 1 good. Season 2 is so-so. Don't watch season 3.
If ending tax credits killed it in FL, I really hope Missouri keeps them going, because Ozark Season 1 is on par with Bloodline season 1.

you have to at least finish season 1, the other 2 seasons are like watching two cruise ships collide, you can see it coming, it takes for ever, then it happens, and you're like I knew that was going to happen

Season 3 was so lackluster I didn't find out the show was canceled until I read this thread.
That show had a lot of potential.

I typically agree with you on movies but I disagree on this one. Bloodline is fantastic. I think you have to watch it by putting yourself in the shoes of John Rayburn....
The storyline is very good.... Enjoyed it tremendously..
