I’m going to wait a couple more weeks then do a rewatch with subtitles instead of the dub.

Good call. Subs are the way to go. I will be doing a rewatch soon. It's incredible.

My wife and I are through Season 1.
It is very addictive.

Here is a non spoiler family tree to help you keep up with the characters. It helps us a lot.

haven’t been this impressed with a series in awhile, BUT the twist at the end of season 2 seems like they don’t know where they are going with the series
I actually agree and I have been completely enthralled with the entire first two seasons up until the last scene. It just made me go “hmmm idk if I like where this is going.” But I will say that I’ve felt this way a few times throughout the series and the writing has made me eat my words and kept me engaged and curious. So I’ll definitely give it the benefit of the doubt.

And also never ever ever dub version. Come on fellas

Not reading the entire thread due to fear of spoilers, but I started it yesterday and I'm on S1E3. I have no idea what's going on right now, but all I know is that I can't stop watching.

all I can figure so far is there's some serious time travel mindfrick going on

1983 is a Polish Netflix original I highly recommend. It’s not Dark but very good.

It was good and I don't think it was renewed.

It was written as a whole from what I've read. Ending it after three seasons is a good sign for that also. Whether it will be a good or bad ending is unknown, but at least it should be a thought out one.

Watch it in German with the subtitles. It's significantly more enjoyable than the dubbed version.

I did this starting with S1E3. It's much better than watching an English dubbed version.

Im dumb so excuse this question.

Is "Dubbed" just a remake in the English version? Planning on starting this soon. I don't mind reading subtitles though.

Same show, but they have English voiceovers for each character. Think the old kung fu movies from the 70s/80s. its really hard to watch. I like the subtitles, you just can't fold laundry or cook while you're watching the show.

The dubbed over stuff is too distracting to me. Go with the original.

Whats funny is that the actors are actually really good english speakers and could have definitely just filmed the show in english too....if it were necessary. They shouldnt even offer the dubbed one. The subtitles are fine.

Also yall need to just get on team Subbies in general. I watch any drama or plot based show with subtitles.

This isn't the kind of series you can follow and enjoy with divided attention

I agree.
My attention is divided when i have to read subtitles, and i find myself not seeing what is actually happening b/c i'm too busy reading.

If a line takes 3 seconds to say it takes .5 seconds to read. So i disagree 100%.

Subtitles or English Dub.

German audio with English captions. I hated English dubbing. You'll get used to it fast. I need to go back to 1983 with Polish audio and English subtitles. English and english sucked.
