Sure I’ve got complaints, but they’re minor. Overall the end result was satisfactory and I’m eager to read the (last) books to get a more detailed view.

Sansa becoming queen in the north would have made me puke in seasons 1-5, but she matured well and earned it. The north being independent was a nice touch. I liked the look on Theron’s sisters face when she realized Sansa had gotten what the ironborn has wanted.

Jon is where he belongs. Arya has to do something other than be a level 59 assassin.

The movement toward a balance of power between king and nobility was a nice historical nod as Venice, the Holy Roman Empire, and several other European states had similar systems. It’s a nice change that seems unsatisfying unless you look at it through the prism of history and how we view similar changes as monumental 500 years later.

A sort of democratic voting system is a massive part of the ending that will get lost in the sea of in fighting.

Eventhough Dany never got to see it the wheel did break. Kings are no longer chosen through lineage but voting

I liked this season as well.

I think we ended where it was supposed to end.

I liked the season but I've got nothing nice to say about the ending.

They let a person guilty of treason speak and convince them Bran should be king, but couldn't let Jon rule? Come on.

And then her and Dorne just say ‘screw it’ and don’t raise any objection to them not being independent too, even though that has been a feature of their houses for the entire series.

Just one example of how you have to ignore everything before to make this season work.

Bran being King makes no sense AT ALL. Jon gets brought back to life through magic just to go back to the nights watch!? They make a deal to send him back to the nights watch with the Unsullied and then they frick right off to Narth? Why wouldn’t Jon just wait till they left and then do whatever he wanted to do? I mean what is the point in them passing the sentence on him? There’s MAJOR holes in this bs story

I’m glad that you liked it, but it really was terrible.

He’s not going to the nights watch. He’s wondering beyond the wall w Tormund and Ghost.

I actually thought everything Dany said to Jon right before he shanked her was pretty reasonable

Well yeah, I got that, but wtf did his lineage have anything to do with the story? Why was it even relevant? He wasn’t Azor Ahai, he didn’t save anybody in Kings Landing, why do we care who his parents were and what was the point in showing/making a huge deal out of it in previous seasons.

She confirmed everything Tyrion said she was - a tyrant who needed to be stopped.

There's no need for a Night's Watch. Jon is going to lead the Free Folk, where he really beloings. I thought this was obvious.

It was, I was merely pointing out that everyone in KL thinks that’s where he’s going. And they are making him take the black, again...

I’m pretty sure I’d you stripped Jon of his honor he would’ve spent his life up north with yigrid. He told Tormund a few weeks ago he wanted to go north. I think Jon is doing what he wants to be doing. He’s essentially breaking the wheel as well by not laying claim to the crown (prior to Dany sack of KL and aftermath).

I get that, but let Jon make that choice in front of everyone. Let him choose Bran.

Instead you get a shite ex hand of the king talking about storytelling.

Oh yeah that was weak as hell. I thought you were arguing the show should’ve ended with Jon ruling
