I have a DVR question

My Cox Cable DVR is set to record The Office, but next Thursday the finale will run two hours. Is there a way to ensure that the box records the full two hours? The reason I ask is because when I had DirecTV that DVR only recorded the first half-hour of the Parks & Rec wedding special.
Any help would be appreciated.

look and make sure it will record it. It will be red if its going to record.
also if not just manually record.
It will record though. you dont really have to worry

Seriously? Be smarter than the machine.

If you have The Office on season pass it will record it, because the DVR recognizes it as an episode of The Office.

I don't watch the office but shouldn't it be OnDemand the next day?

It should record it, but my DTV DVR lets me extend recording time; you could do that to be safe.
