The way the world is now, you would think they would fight like hell to get this one back on.

Bill Cosby is a monster and deserves what he got, but that show was genius and stop down TV for my family in the late 80s.

I picked up the entire series DVD for about $30 on Amazon a while back. Cosby may have turned out bad but the Huxtables are still a national treasure.

Agree.

The rest of the cast shouldn't be punished.

The best was when Theo was talking about not going to college and getting a job like regular people. Bill gave him some Monopoly money equal to his anticipated pay, then starting taking it back for each expense. Rent, car, etc. Wiped it out before he got to food.

Every high school kid should have to research what their anticipated job earns. Then find the costs of the lifestyle they envision. Then do the math.

Yeah, turns out Cosby was a real piece of shite, but the life lessons in that show are still amazing and honestly needed heavily by young people today. You can separate the actor from the show (or should be able to at least), and the show was incredibly in quality.

Theo kept finding ways to save money. Ended up with money left over.

Cliff asked "Do you want a girlfriend?" Theo said yes so Cliff took the rest of the money

That was an excellent episode and probably should be required viewing for high school kids. He gave his son a valuable lesson on the realities of life

When the rape allegations blew up I remember thinking that sucks for the rest of the cast.

I imagine Theo, Rudy, Cockroach, etc. were pretty dependent on those royalty and residual checks.
