So I just got done watching the series up to this point (Season 10 Ep 15). I hear people saying Michonne will not return to the show? Also saw where they are making 3 movies featuring the Rick Grimes character picking up where he left off in the helicopter. I am so confused how this show finishes. Does it end with the movies? Will Andrew Lincoln ever return to the TWD TV series? I know he said he wouldn't but that could change over time.

This is why pattern recognition is important when viewing a show. It was wash, rinse, and repeat after the 1st couple of seasons. I gave up on it and saved a bunch of time & frustration.

Agreed. I feel like I just wasted time the last couple of seasons. A couple of episodes were alright but nothing like it was before. Show needs Rick back badly

Much like our current times, and as proven by Alpha, they'll all realize they just need to wear masks and go about their business.

Problem solved.

That would be a GOT level F you to everyone at this point, so it's probably still on the table.

But it's not really possible since they have moved to story-line without Rick involved. The coma theory only sort of works if it's all in Rick's head with Rick involved at least tangentially.

I quit watching a few years ago. Probably around season 7. The first 3 seasons were pretty good. Then I cut cable and would find streams for it later on. It was a good show to binge about 6-8 episodes a week when nothing else was on or if my wife and kids were gone for a few days. But it did get repetitive quickly, and that was easy to see in the summertime watching a season during a couple of weeks.

God I can already imagine that final season

“TONIGHT.....tune in for our season series finale opener premiere part 1...... the last episode before a 4 week hiatus, the ending. Will. Leave. You. Shocked”

“TONIGHT.....Our season series finale premiere part 2 premieres after a 4 week hiatus and you won’t BELIEVE what we have in store. Someone. Will. Die.

And we will go on another 8 week break.”

Etc etc

They just need to let this show die already. Make a final episode where it is 40 years into the future and Judith is running the Thunderdome.

The comics ended already, though kind of abruptly, so you can go read the ending now.

I guess they think they have enough foreign viewers to justify three movies, but I doubt they all get made. If they do, it will be with increasingly tighter budgets, less distribution, and finally straight to video or Netflix releases.

I've watched since the beginning, and yes, I believe it's done plot-wise. (Although Negan slicing Alpha's throat was sort of worth the wait and semi-suprise.) They're teasing with the new series being the answer to "the helicopters" and "Rick's story".

Fear the Walking Dead needs to die too. And quicker.

One of the characters hears bells ringing and decides to kill the rest of the characters.

I stopped watching after season 8 and just binged season 9 and 10 (minus 1). I actually enjoyed both. I’m super interested in how they end the tv show (I’ve read the comics).

They could end it like the comics but that seems extremely unlikely since AMC feels the needs to create 50 different spin offs plus th Rick movies which doesn't need to be three separate movies. My guess is the final episode will go a lot like the final issue although how we get there will be entirely different considering the comics was Carl's story ultimately

The primary point of the show is that these few communities are isolated and don't get much outside contact. Given the dead's nature and weaknesses, most would have been destroyed. Society would have been somewhat rebuilt with large cities and towns uniting together. There is always the threat of new dead and future outbreaks. But it would be contained.

I believe the ending should be that they venture a few days and find a huge boundry, fortified gate. They find out that were in a quarantined zone, that has some sort of additional outbreak tha makes survivors paranoid and make dumb decisions. But on the other side, its life as normal..

If I had to guess it'll be a two part ending.

One part will be the main group getting with Maggie's new friends and rebuilding society.

The other ending will be Michonne and Rick reuniting and them leaving to find Judith and their other kid who doesn't seem to have a name. Rick Jr?
