Click on any random website about it that says “everything we know about” and read 800 words that could be summed up about not knowing shite other than it’s a show that will be on HBO in a year or two.

I’m hopeful. The show did great with the early books, and did fairly well when the Fat Man could give them a broad outline. Like the Hodor reveal.

It went off the rails when even he didn’t have a broad outline and they had to pick an ending and make the last few books work with that ending and a limited number if seasons to wrap it up.

For this prequel they have a good outline of Targaryen history to follow and they know the whole story going in.

Except the audience knows where it’s going as well, and they’ve already neutered most of the meaning behind any prequel series by making all the old connect plot lines and old family lines essentially useless to the story that ended up being told in GOTs.

Why do I care about the targaryens when they already told me there’s really nothing special about them besides just being bat shite crazy all the time?
