Home Alone 2 came on cable TV. I watched some of it. The scene where Kevin standing at outside plaza it showed the Twin Towers. Both from the ground and when he's at the observation deck. Finally whoever is in charge of omitting scenes let's the towers be shown. I rented it on YouTube several Christmas ago and it did not show the towers. Finally. All wounds have healed.

You're gonna get flak for this weird thread but I see where you're coming from. It's so strange to me to see media whitewash things like the towers so it's kinda nice to see movie and tv that just airs things in their original version instead of trying to protect people's feelings

I've seen several movies showing the towers and they don't remove them.

The television show Fringe which premiered in 2008 and had 100 episodes had the Twin Towers appear in multiple episodes.
The towers were located in a parallel universe (other side) which had similar, but not the same, history, cities and people. On the other side Richard Nixon was on the silver dollar coins, no Andrew Jackson and a bunch of other differences. With just Jackson missing the histories, population and governments would probably all be different which is another topic.
It was a good series. I originally watched it on either Amazon or Netflix. I’ve since acquired the DVDs and have watched it an additional five times.
