The picture, which is clearly taken while Cavill is getting his Geralt wig laid on the set of The Witcher Season 2, has a caption that reads "Secret project? Or just a handful of paper with random words on it?...Guess you'll have to wait and see."

Gamepressure edited the photo using focus Magic to take away the blur in the corner, and there are Mass Effect words written on the paper. This is not a drill, people. You can clearly read "Cerberus", "Reaper", "Geth" and "Tali'Zorah" on that page

Loved Mass Effect after 2. Then 3 was fine, Andromeda was awful and the series died.

I can’t think of any other brand that died so quickly.

ME1 was a chore to get through because the combat controls were awful. ME2 was damn near perfect. Honestly never understood the hate for the ME3 ending.

Overall, the world is so expansive that I feel an ME TV series would be better.

Cavill should be cast in every game-to-film adaptation there is.

Because 3 games of difficult decisions came down to picking red, blue, or green.

And that is just the beginning.

Major plot points erased (Rachni queen kill or don’t kill) because they couldn’t come up with another enemy variant.

That one always bothered me.

If you release the queen, they find her and recapture her, making your choice pointless.

If you kill the queen, they just make a new one, making your choice pointless.

The game sold itself as a free flowing, decision-driven medium, when it was all an illusion.

As to the show, I was reluctant to support this project since I figured they would find some way to ruin it, but if Cavill is onboard, this will definitely be an honest adaptation.

I’m in.

It suffered from the curse of a poor launch, much like AC: Unity.

The game launched in a broken state and, even though it was repaired into a serviceable product, it was never going to recover.

The bad publicity was already there.

Holy shite yes, I've long thought that Mass Effect would be great for a big budget series. There are so many stories that could be told in that universe, but if "Cerberus", "Reaper", "Geth" and "Tali'Zorah" are mentioned, then it's certainly following the Shepard storyline.

My main problem was that in ME1, Sovereign tells Shepard that the Reapers purpose is beyond our comprehension, but then the explanation ends up being pretty simple. Really was a let down. The ending wasn't great, but I don't think it deserved the backlash it got.

Yep, in a series where "decisions have consequences", I thought it would have been fitting if the ending was like Slumdog Millionaire (or Endgame now), where a very specific sequence of events, some good and some bad, across all three games lead to the one outcome where we win.

Am i remembering wrong?

I thought if you let her go she pledges the Rachni to you for the upcoming war and you gain them as war assets?

Arthas Menethil (Warcraft)

Who would he play in Starcraft? Artanis?

I was referencing her release in ME1.

You do get the choice to kill or release her again in ME3.

You gain war assets from her, but not until after you save her again in ME3.

She is captured by the reapers but resists indoctrination.

If you kill her in ME1, the reapers construct an artificial queen.
