If it helps anyone, just wanted to pass it out there that I have HBO GO and am able to use my Cox login to get HBO Max for no additional cost. This is contrary to everything I had read about this in the last month so give it a shot and see if it works for you.

HBO NOW subscribers were supposed to get Max but not HBO Go. Multiple sites had this info.

Cox gives me Go and Now for being an HBO subscriber. I thought every HBO cable subscriber got Go and Now for free.

Which sites? it’s the same thing either way it’s not an additional service so I think you just misread those articles

I have no idea where you saw this, but literally everything I read said that if your cable company was in on this deal, HBO Go would upgrade for free to HBO Max. This was always part of the deal.

I have free HBO (thus HBO Go) as part of Direct TV (for having ATT too) and have HBO Max now - just linked the accounts.

I have it on my Sony Android TV - however it is not on my bedroom Roku yet (they have no deal as of now).
