Anyone catch the first two episodes last night? Quite an intense start to the season. I greatly look forward to Aunt Lydia's death whenever that comes. Damn that woman is crazy and cruel

We watched the first episode, it looks like it is going to be a pretty good season. I'm unfamiliar with how Hulu releases it's shows. Is it 2 episodes each week?

It was just 2 episodes this week. From here on out it will be one episode a week.

Watched the first season. Smart move on their part to drop two episodes this week. Last seasons soundtrack was fire btw.

We only watched the one episode, but Jesus... that was intense. It might have been a bit much, just an unrelentingly grim episode.

I asked my fiancé if the twist was going to end up being that Trump is behind it all...

It’s a very depressing show.

If this is something you say on a regular basis you're probably going to hate it.

You could choose to interpret it that way. But in reality the show is based on a book written by Margaret atwood. Book was released in the early 90's

Nah you are. The book is just another take on 1984 or Fahrenheit 451 with a different spin

It's pretty fricking bleak. It also gives me a panic attack (figuratively speaking) watching the way the handmaids are controlled absolutely with no conceivable way of resisting. Every time you're like oh you could do x to fight back the show is like nope, nope, nope.

While I agree with you that this is a dystopian book that has very little SJW qualities in it. They pretty much wrapped up the book in season one. The story will most certainly take a different route from here on out (Similar to the last two seasons of The Leftovers).

The first two episodes of season two were pretty legit.

No, but you still shouldn't watch it. People that ask those questions before watching and finding out for themselves don't deserve top notch shows like this.

Head on back to the Poli Board.
