We're nearing October. Throw out some Halloween / Horror movies you'll be watching or suggest that I watch. Any particular movies that you watch annually?

I always watch Freaks. It's not really a horror movie, but it's a great little flick.

Classic universal monster movies, Friday the 13th movies.
For newish ones I recommend It Follows and Hereditary.

There’s a 2020 remake of Halloween? You mean the 2018 remake?

I just watched Phantasm and the third movie. I was looking for part two but couldn't find it.

Phantasm 2 is a pain in the arse to find. I think it's probably b/c it was made by Universal (which is also why it's the only one to have a different actor playing Mike b/c the studio forced a recast) while the others were done by different studios that are more willing to dole out their properties to various streaming services.

I've never actually seen Poltergeist but I just noticed it was on Netflix. Definitely going to check it out.

Salem's Lot scarred me for life, and Pet Sematary is the only movie that ever caused me to lose a full night's sleep! Fricken' Zelda!
