Just in time for a 2 month marathon of made for TV Christmas movies starring supporting cast members from those shows you used to like, PS Vue has added Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies and Mysteries to it's channel lineup.

Also of possible interest, as I mentioned on the Tech board yesterday, PS Vue has added some Alexa support to it's Fire TV app, you can ask Alexa to change the channels now.

I've watched a few with the wife. Every single one is the exact same damn plot, save a few minor details throughout. The acting in them is pretty bad too...

But I somehow still love it.

Only a few? We have been watching every night since Halloween already.
Every movie - Begins with woman meeting/bumping in to/reuniting with love interest. They get close. Once they get close to where they are about to finally kiss some manufactured drama happens. Twenty minutes of resolving drama and then boom they end up together.

Every. Hallmark. Movie.

And I love them this time of year

I swear, they have some poor writers locked away in a broom closet with a Mad Lib-style Christmas movie script book just churning them out.

I refuse to watch more than one a week. I'm a Hallmark Christmas movie widower this time of year. Can't complain as it gives me time to watch shows I know she wouldn't like, like The Punisher.

Their only redeeming quality is they usually have hot bitches. I love hot bitches.

Which makes it all the more perplexing because my wife generally hates hot bitches.

This is pretty cool and all, but I'll start celebrating when I'll finally be able to watch the Astros as an in-market consumer.

It's the only thing my 83 year old mom watches this time of the year. During the rest of the year she watches whatever channel shows Little House on the Prairie, The Waltons and Doctor Quinn Medicine Woman. I think she was really disappointed when I told her Jane Seymour posed for Playboy. I'm a mean SOB.
