I think...that Ramsay Snow thinks if he still has Theon prisoner, then that will make the Iron Islanders withdraw more easily from wherever they still are in the North.

This... the last scene was fluff and I've seen enough.
Speculation going forward as far as war-mongering goes:
Stannis is headed north bc he is now all-in against the threat beyond the wall. How will Jon Snow/Night's Watch react?
Dany is presumably about to set sail - is her enemy The Iron Throne? Does Stannis care?
Greyjoy wench is headed North to attempt to free Theon. Old Man Balon should be dead sooner than later (leech ceremony), but how does that all tie together?
Lannisters are about to have more weddings, but Jofftard is marked for death by leech ceremony as well. Tywin is old. Jaime is back and probably won't just resume his Season 1 pompous form. Cersei has a chance for redemption I guess
Other families:
Martell - wasn't young Lannister sent to live with them?
Tyrell - They've been MIA, I'm assuming their storylines are progressed ahead in the books or something
Bolton - Wardens of the North... I assume they fight Greyjoys for a while
Frey - Seems doomed based on how he killed Robb in dishonorable way
Tully - Blackfish still alive, Edmere is locked up at Freys

I love this show more than any in recent memory, I'm basically just thinking out loud about what I would like to happen. Face changing dude is a awesome character and I really want to know more about him and his abilities. Dany needs to shite or get off the pot, set sail already geeezzz.
i was just effing with you. jaquen (sp?) was pretty awesome. you would think that he will appear again just don't know how soon. and if the show is consistent it could be next episode or season 7.

maybe what was lost on people was something i noticed in the HBO description of the episode which was (paraphrasing) "dany decides btwn being a conqueror or a liberator". i think it's telling b/c with all her "take what is mine with fire and blood" talk she's clearly choosing the latter and this scene puncutates that
Nah, per the OP:

Dany waits to see if she is a conqueror or a liberator.
It wasn't about her choosing to sack the city or not, but rather she was on pins and needles waiting to see if the people accepted her (as a liberator) or feared her (as a conqueror), and it was the former obviously.

10. I've figured out Dany's end game. Bring as many brown people to Westeros to drive down property values and wreck the economy thus crippling the Lannisters.
And then there was the racism.
Man, there are some whiny little bitches in this thread and some people who need to pay better attention. Chunks is the queen bitch of the thread, but there are several others.
I don't know what you expected, but I thought it was a top notch episode and still better than any of the other garbage you monkeys watch. I expected Theon to be in far worse shape, and I think his sister is only going to make it worse for him. His father needs to die soon for being a total piece of shite. Interesting that Ramsay killed the Iron Islanders who betrayed Theon.
Bran's story has become more interesting. The Starks have known about the Wws all along because of the escaped crow whom they beheaded in the first episode, right? So I think he's known what he's getting into all along. Maybe not. It's unclear to me whether finding the three eyed raven is supposed to be a way to beat the Wws or if he's just compelled for other reasons.
Arya is so awesome now. And yes, she is to give the coin to anyone from Braavos, say the words and that person will find Jagen, who will then find Arya. Yes, apparently all if the people of Braavos fricking know each other. That's what I got out of that scene, anyway.
I wasn't sure how Cersei would react to handless Jaime. Such a thing was hugely emasculating in those days. But yeah, he can stump her now. I kinda hope he hooks up with Brienbe, though.
I do wonder one thing, however. If the lannisters made that deal with Bolton and the Freys, how is Locke not strung up with his dick shoved down his throat? Does Bolton have that much of a boner for him?
Finally, if there is still a lot of boon three to go, as others have said, I think it's a brilliant way to sell the books and possibly put more action into next season. I'm told books 4 and 5 are pretty slow.
I'm still in Dallas, but I hope there were some good, season finale bannings. Last chance to be a fiend until next season.

don't know but i love lady olenna and loras although a known sword swallower seems like a dicent guy and warrior.

yeah that could actually be entertaining.

let's hope so.

yeah i guess. but during the walder/roose scene i thought their explanation of theon's situation was basically b/c his men turned on him. then the scene with balon (sp?) foresaking him. if not for his sister's sympathy theon would be seen as a completely expendable non factor. and like i said ramsay doesn't know his sis is coming for him. but as i type this i'm realizing that ramsay doesn't also know that balon is spurning him when he sends the "dick in a box". i guess he thinks body parts will quell the greyjoys northern ambitions. so nevermind. ok good talk...

True... now that Robb and Cat are dead, I'm assuming we'll see new families come about, and since they are one of the "big houses" per GOT HBO wiki I think they'll become players.

Agreed - I'm on Team Tyrell as much as any other team

This... some redemption for the Tully clan would be nice, hopefully at Frey or Bolton's expense

gotcha. you're right as far as the episode description. i still stand by my assertion that she's digging the messiah role more than the conqueror role. and she will continue to "liberate" other cities. i mean if there's other cities to liberate? i would think there are.

I've said it time and time again. Dany wants to save these slaves, and I see her sacking all the slave cities she can. It might be a while before she gets to Westeros.

i guess that's what i'm tryin to say. at first it was all about taking the iron throne. i think now it's about becoming "Mhysa" to even more...

see, i took the jamie returning scene differently. i thought cersei almost looked at him with reluctant happiness bc of his hand and appearance. funny how much can be conveyed in a scene/moment with hardly any words.
I took this scene the same way. It was as if she was trying to hide her disgust over his physical appearance.

i guess when you throw white walkers in it becomes more interesting but i guess they are keeping her out of westeros right now for two reasons:
1) her dragons may not be old enough yet to truly wreck shite
2) but say they are...she goes over, it's done. right? no one is opposing 3 dragons.
king's landing was going to be sacked by dull effing stannis if it wasn't for wyldfire. wars are being won with deceit and penstrokes. but dragons just cancel everything else out. they're a damned cheat code. sure it may happen, but something tells me it's not happening soon. this season kind of made that apparent for me.

Most definitely...I never said otherwise. Her first option is always to try to free slaves/liberate cities rather than sack them. And even when she sacks them, she leaves the slaved people alone (like in Astapor). Even though she can frick shite up (well, with her dragons), she much prefers people to choose to be with her.

Balon is doomed along with Joffrey based on the leech ceremony, if there's consistency. Stannis felt those three were in his way - unclear if that's taken back now as it is unimportant compared to the WWs.
So, the sister will be the de facto ruler of the Iron Islands - the Greyjoys might die out.

To be fair, it was Viserys that was consumed with taking the iron throne. Dany was more just a pawn then, and then once she was with Drogo she sort of caught the asskicking bug from him. Then when we died, she wanted nothing more than to lead "her people" (which is stupid IMO because they weren't hers for very long). And she's slowly making her way to Westeros liberating people and building an army.
So while her eye is still on the prize somewhat (since it's her overarching goal), she still cares a lot about freeing people and liberating cities.
I'm still wondering if she realizes what jorah did to get booted from Westeros (selling slaves). Since she's so anti that, I can't imagine she'd be cool with what he did.

If she takes in time in Easteros (???), it very well may be more than three dragons. I don't believe anything has been said of the sex of the current dragons.
Also, I'm pretty sure Quarth (the place with the multiplying sorcerer fella) had slaves, though for all I know she's closer to Westeros than Quarth right now, so it may be a very long trip back to try and free one of the world's most powerful cities.
