Could be. When the three of the sellswords drew to see who would kill dany, they drew coins, and whoever ended up with the Braavosi coin was the one who would do it. So there's that too.

I took that scene that Ayra forgot she could still summon Jhagen. The coin was a deterrent so she could murder the guy, then picked it up realizing she had that option.

A sell sword is basically a mercenary, they can be from anywhere. Bronn is a sell sword.

Where are y'all getting this summoning power thing? She has to say the words TO someone from Braavos. There was no one from Braavos there. She was justing ruminating over the fact that she is turning into a killer. She will close many eyes.

IMO, to Arya, Jaqen H'gar and the faceless men represent what real killing is - stealthy, efficient, and somewhat glorious.

The Hound isn't really her aspiration as far as becoming a killing machine. His methods aren't as appealing to her.

Some questions and observations I have for the season and last nights episode.
1. Is Theon at the Dreadfort?
2. Crazy Bastard Bolton against super dyke could be an interesting storyline.
3. Arya and Hound continues to be the best storyline by far.
4. Tywin or Jofferey dies soon, those two cannot coexist much longer.
5. Would have liked to have seen what Littlefinger is up too, I assume he's going to The Eyrie but not certain.
6. #TeamWhiteWalker
7. I have zero clue of what Bran hopes to find beyond the wall.
8. Are Rickon and Osha at a safe house? The Umber's I can't remember.
9. What will be the fallout if Cersei goes through with her pledge not to marry Loras?

yep def have lots of little cliff hangers going forward. I like all your questions, but I have no answers.

Right, but she wants revenge, and training from the faceless fella to kill well guarded people discreetly would be the best way to go about it. The Hound is a badass, but he's not sneaking up on anybody. Going to Bravos or summoning the guy for training makes too much sense. There were a million ways for her to distract the guy she killed, it can't be a coincidence that the manner she used called back to the faceless man.

this is how I took it as well. Her using the coin as a distraction and then saying the words after were just symbolic of her character development...she is now a killer and it reminded her of jhagen. Nothing more than that.

YES! This was the first MAN she's killed..

And she likes to undersell her abilities, if you haven't noticed

you seem to have a lot of ultimatums on whether or not the show will piss you off. i better see this or i hope this happens........i hope there are shows that you enjoy that actually exist.

thank you, Jesus! i want her and the hound to be together a while but i took it as foreshadowing that she may make a trip to see "a real killer". especially now that she has a man kill under her belt. she did it with no guilt or repercussions just the feeling of "i need to get better at this and do it more" once again, jmo.

loved that scene btw.

i know the ending wasn't the best but this is the mid way point in book 3 and we're just recovering from one of the two biggest "Oh shite" moments in the show to date.
maybe what was lost on people was something i noticed in the HBO description of the episode which was (paraphrasing) "dany decides btwn being a conqueror or a liberator". i think it's telling b/c with all her "take what is mine with fire and blood" talk she's clearly choosing the latter and this scene puncutates that. i mean she COULD end up in Westeros in S4 E1 kicking arse but i took this as foreshadowing that she's going to be traveling through Essos setting things right which once went wrong and maybe at some point the next leap will be the leap home...

all in all, i think she started this to build her army she was just doing it the right way. setting people free was just a positive side effect to building her army. now i think that building her army just becomes a positve side effect for her being the liberator/messiah of essos. that's what i got from that scene.

jon snow may know some things, but it took him this long to find out red heads are crazy. like fricking crazy man.

tywin's a boss and i, like everyone, loved his "take your medicine, son" type scene with joffrey. but his scene with tyrion is even better. you hate him and like him all at once. or at least sympathize with the notion of doing whatever it takes for family. i do think tyrion is the voice of reason about doing things the right way but tywin showed he's all about just getting to point B by all means nec.

see, i took the jamie returning scene differently. i thought cersei almost looked at him with reluctant happiness bc of his hand and appearance. funny how much can be conveyed in a scene/moment with hardly any words. i could be wrong. not sure how she intends not to marry ser loras. that'll be one of those fun speculation things to run with in the offseason.

loved the scenes with davos and gendry and the rapport they built in such a short time. scenes like this make me just more and more mad at someone like george lucas who doesn't do nuance or dialogue well. b/c it can be done.

walder frey and lord bolton answered a frick load of questions did they not? i half expected them to just deliver the lines straight into the camera for the audience. with bolton being the warden of the north and the greyjoys coming for theon i hope there are some epic battles/confrontations. neither of those families seem very pleasant.

speaking of, anyone else get a "Roots" vibe when bolton bastard was punching theon. still trying to figure out though why theon is important to them. his own men turned on him. sure, his sister is coming for him but he (ramsay) doesn't know that. how is theon valuable? i guess its kind of like when we asked why sansa was so valuable?

they sure have teased the white/wight walker thing for a while now. the red woman makes it obvious though that attentions will be turned to that soon. but not sure of the definition of soon in this series. i thought joffrey would've gotten married like 6 episodes ago.

lastly hodor echoing down the well was worth the price of admission, what's wrong with everyone, that was frickin awesome.

i know TL:DR hodor4life

Nope, the coin was just an outward-thinking device, it reminded her of Jaqen.

I love this show more than any in recent memory, I'm basically just thinking out loud about what I would like to happen. Face changing dude is a awesome character and I really want to know more about him and his abilities. Dany needs to shite or get off the pot, set sail already geeezzz.
