In this season we never saw what happened to the guy in the box that Vary's had.
Will we see that again? Or was that scene just to show Vary's being a badass?

I think you were dreaming.

Some of you guys try too hard to make something out of some this stuff. That was clearly just to show what Varys is capable of and to shine some light on his background.

That was disappointing.
Fairly meh episode last night, but still got some resolution-ish things so all wasn't lost.
For some reason, I actually felt happy for Cersei when Jamie walked in her room...as much as I think she's a count, you could see how relieved she was when she saw him. Great Jamie scene even though he was only onscreen for like 2 minutes.
Arya fricking that dude up was legit...I hope Hound can hone her skills and make her a badass. Still waiting for the "Hound and Arya" spinoff show that I'll watch every second of. And I really didn't understand why she'd use the Valhar Morgulis thing when she did...I assume that's for some Lannisters (assuming she knows that they had her family killed)..?? Frey?
Obviously the scene of the night was Tywin putting Joffrey in his little bastard place. That was so awesome seeing Tywin be like "You're the king, kid, but I'm the fricking boss...go to bed, asswipe." And his conversation with Tyrion was awesome as well...say what you want about him, but the man does care about his family (and more importantly, the family crest/name). "I wanted to walk you into the sea and let the waves carry you away, but I raised you as my son...because you're a Lannister." fricking awesome.
I actually didn't want to shoot Sam in the face for once, so I guess that's progress. And we see now that he had more dragonglass (though it was still stupid for him to walk away from it a couple episodes ago). And Bran's story about killing guests in your house made me think Frey was maybe gonna die this episode, but it didn't happen.
Really (really, really) fricking love me some Davos. I liked his conversation with Gendry, and then it was cool that he let him go "Because it's right." Davos is awesome. Also liked how he planned out his little speech knowing he still had the whitewalker letter in his back pocket to try to save himself. He's definitely one of my favorite characters.
We finally (legitimately) know that Ramsay Snow/Bolton is torturing Theon, even though I still find myself still not giving a single frick about that storyline at all. Also, Theon's sister is less attractive than she was last season (which wasn't much then).
Dany's end scene was kinda stupid. We've already seen her do this exact same thing. I get the symbolism, so to speak, of how far she's come and everything, but I'm starting to get tired of her moving to a city, winning them over, then moving onto another city, etc. Hopefully that storyline picks up MAJOR steam next seasons...otherwise it'll become stale quickly for me.
I was kinda surprised that Ygritte shot Jon Snow. I half-thought she was gonna join up with him. Women...
I think that's just about everything..
New theory that jumped in my head watching last night...since Bran seems to be some sort of super warg, I think he may end up warging the dragons (shite, or maybe even Dany herself) to take out the white walkers. Of course, he's a fricking Stark though, and who knows if he'll even live long enough to do anything.

I don't get statements like this...I don't think anybody's trying to make anything out of it, but they went out of their way to show us that he had captured the warlord (or whatever he was)...they could've easily just told that story. But since they showed us, I think people wanted to see what Varys ended up doing to him (I know I did). I mean, they didn't even have to show it..could've just talked about it, but they never even addressed it again. It's okay to be disappointed about things with this show, and just because someone is disappointed doesn't mean they were "trying too hard to make something out of it."
JMO.

Now that season 3 im gonna take my time and re-watch the season. Im still kind of lost on a couple major story lines.
Can someone briefly explain the Theon Greyjoy storyline. Im still not sure who took him in the first place. And why he was saved by Ramsay and then recaptured again.
Roose Bolton? Why did he do it?

Ramsey is Roose's bastard. So technically his name is Ramsey Snow (like Jon Snow)
I think he did that 1. to frick with Theon and 2. to find out if Bran and Rickkon were actually dead
and he wanted some of that penis meat

She didn't "use" anything. It's not like she can look at a coin, say some words, and BAM someone dies.
The coin is only useful if she finds a Braavosi, and then says the words. I think it ensures her safe passage to Braavos and gets the word to Jhagen Hagar that she's coming.

No shite. But in the past, her saying the words "called" the assassin (Jagen) and he came to her aid. And when they parted ways, I'm pretty sure he told her to say the phrase TO someone and he would find her. But last night she just knelt down and sort of rubbed the coin and said the words. So I don't know what she was trying to do.

Again, I never said she was trying to "magically kill someone" (which she never has btw). I'm talking about "calling" on Jagen.

Wrong. He didn't even tell her the words until he was leaving. And, it was literally one of the last things he said to her.
Prior to that, she "called" him by giving him a name of who to kill. She had to actively find him each time.

I just took it as forshadowing that in the near future she was going to try and find super killer face shifter to help her wreck shite.

Most of the theories thrown around in here seem pretty reasonable but that scene was pretty clear cut. imo of course.
They've never shown much detail when it comes to Varys's comings and goings. Some things really are easy to take as it is. I took that as one.

Some questions and observations I have for the season and last nights episode.
1. Is Theon at the Dreadfort?
2. Crazy Bastard Bolton against super dyke could be an interesting storyline.
3. Arya and Hound continues to be the best storyline by far.
4. Tywin or Jofferey dies soon, those two cannot coexist much longer.
5. Would have liked to have seen what Littlefinger is up too, I assume he's going to The Eyrie but not certain.
6. #TeamWhiteWalker
7. I have zero clue of what Bran hopes to find beyond the wall.
8. Are Rickon and Osha at a safe house? The Umber's I can't remember.
9. What will be the fallout if Cersei goes through with her pledge not to marry Loras?
10. I've figured out Dany's end game. Bring as many brown people to Westeros to drive down property values and wreck the economy thus crippling the Lannisters.
