So black panther gets a best picture nod without one of the best actors, screen writers, directors, etc....

Shocked.

Nice to see Amy Adams with 2 nominations, easily the best working actress today.

Surprised to not see Eastwood's movie The Mule nominated. I think it releases on Xmas. What's the Globes cut off?

Who do they think they're kidding? BP wasn't even the best comic book movie of the year.

If they're gonna nominate those movies they should've also added Creed 2.

I don't see how that movie is any different than the above list except maybe better.

Creed II is not better than ASIB lol. The only one I'm truly surprised by on here is Bohemian, given the average at best reviews. But before everyone gets their panties in a wad over everything being PC, The Globes tends to be much more lenient towards box office megahits that weren't necessarily critical darlings. I mean it's a group of like 90 people in the Hollywood Foreign Press Association that decide all of this for fricks sake.

They need to get rid of the 2 separate categories. Vice and Green Book are under comedy while Black Panther is under drama

I didn’t like it that much. I get why it’s popular but it’s pretty cheesy

Why don't more people find this patronizing? Specifically, the people who were a part of the film as well as the people who this nomination is meant to appease shouldn't feel good about it knowing it really did nothing to earn the recognition. It's like everyone knows this is being done for race's sake and not because it was a good enough movie.
