after seeing the rough outline that Martin clearly has planned for the novels, I'm actually more interested in finishing the book series than I was before. I think his execution of stuff leading up to the endgame will make a lot more sense and be much more satisfying than the show.

I'm hoping for some potential clarification of Brienne, Hodor, Old Nan, Dunk, etc and would like to see something that confirms that they might all be related through Dunk/Old Nan's debauchery.

If any of you people that have spent the last three months bitching about the last season buy this book, you should perma ban yourselves. Had Martin not either dicked around or admitted that he was stuck and actually worked with the show runners. You could argue the quality would have been better. But he didn’t and is now getting the benefit of learning from the mistakes made in the completion of the show, which to me is cheap and hypocritical. Martin should have to take an Adapted story credit from the show.

I will buy the book, read it, and post about it and it's differences on this message board.
