If there is one part of the Bible that has undergone more scrutiny and abuse than any other, it is the beginning—Genesis. The heated debate over origins has questioned the Creation and ultimately the Creator. So what exactly happened at "Creation," in the "Beginning"? Enter GENESIS: PARADISE LOST!
Cutting-edge cinematography meets proven science and biblical accuracy to deliver GENESIS: PARADISE LOST, bringing the first book of the Bible to life in both 2D and 3D formats on the big screen. Stunning visual effects and field research invite audiences to explore the much-studied and debated opening chapters of the Bible. This highly-anticipated movie event will show in cinemas nationwide on Monday, November 13 at 7:00 p.m. local time.
GENESIS: PARADISE LOST will entertain and educate as an event for the whole family. The digital animation is interwoven with insightful commentary from accredited scientists and educators such as Dr. Charles Jackson and Dr. Georgia Purdom, and popular speakers such as Ken Ham and Ray Comfort. Cultural apologist Dr. Voddie Baucham, Jr.’s deep booming voice serves as Genesis’ “unseen narrator” whose vocal presence gives the visual images deeper meaning and life.
As a bonus, this Fathom event features an exclusive panel discussion with leaders from both the science and faith communities. Moviegoers throughout the U.S. can enjoy the event in more than 700 theaters, with select locations offering the film in RealD 3D. Tickets can be purchased online or at participating theater box offices.
As an independent film venture, we humbly ask for YOUR help in making GENESIS: PARADISE LOST into a groundbreaking success worth repeating! “All things are possible with God,” and this rare film honors Him by striving to faithfully relay His story. So bring family, friends, neighbors, skeptics… all are welcome!

Would be better if it was. Much better than a lot of pseudoscience to try and prove the Biblical myths.

I watched that trailer.
Is that a joke?
seriously, are they being ironic in a satirical type of movie?

I certainly hope so but then again, there is that multi million dollar "creationist" museum in Kentucky so nothing these people could waste their money on making would shock me anymore.
I found this movie poster for it online. This pretty much says all you really need to know about the movie.
A human standing next to a dinosaur..... yeah, that happened.....
Edited to say I just saw this was done by Ken Ham the idiot responsible for the creationist museum. It's not a joke. This idiot actually believes humans used dinosaurs like the Flintstones. That idiot spent way too much time watching Saturday morning cartoons and not enough time studying scientific writings.

So man walked with Dinos?
Damn...those dudes...I mean, wouldn't they be the most celebrated bad-asses in history.
Dino-slayers?
I mean, we worry about a crazy cat...or some Pit-Bull mistreated gone bad. Forget walking 5 miles in the snow to school. I walked through a Velociraptor infested forest to find berries, dammit!

So this is probably trivial and I'm not even sure it applies in this specific instance, but does anyone else get infuriated when bible enthusiasts reference Milton like he's scripture?
I swear some of the most passionate people I've seen are the same ones who talk about Paradise Lost like it's a book in the Bible.
It's not, it's more interesting than anything in the bible, they should probably add it. But as it stands it's not.

Fairly recent archeological findings of other creation stories have changed the way we should read the creation account in Genesis. It was never intended to be a scientific treatise. The Jews would have understood that it was not an account of God creating the universe ex nihilo. Rather, it is meant to convey God assigning order and purpose to the universe. He was establishing the universe as His temple. This is how the ancient Jews would have heard, read and understood the creation account. A literal reading of Genesis 1 is a relatively new phenomenon and doing so backs YECs and their ilk into an untenable position.

Which Genesis creation story?
Lilith getting a mention?
Will Ray Comfort keep using that banana without realizing real bananas are seedy rocks the siZe of plantains and we manipulated bananas until we had larger seedless clones that are highly susceptible to disease?

I have a feeling Ray Comfort and is ilk have a bad relationship with facts and proof. YE creationist have been thoroughly debunked with every piece of information they come out with yet they keep moving the goal posts. Often times their rebuttals are equivalent to five year old children "You don't know because you weren't there"

What does this have to do with the West Memphis 3?
