You're right it was the tower of the hand.

And like I said in the before the episode discussion, how many times have we heard Ceresi say "I'll burn it all down" or "I'll kill them all". There also had to be either some Wildfire made or left over from Blackwater. And she's crazy enough to do it.
My guess is she locks them in the Sept in what would be her trial and burns them to the ground.

It makes sense in the context of what they presented on the show
You're right.

Edmure has always been weak like that, even in the books.
Well in the books Jaime gives the same speech and I'm pretty sure Edmure still helped Blackfish escape. He was basically rubbing it in Jaime's face.
I wouldn't call book Edmure weak. Just had a bit of an inferiority complex

It was funny watching Jaqen exhale with relief after Arya walks away.
He was smiling the whole time. He trained her exactly as he wanted her to be trained. She was never meant to be a true "no one".

1000 bucks jon snow dies
A few cuts before that, we see a shitload of horses charging at each other. The Stark/Wildling army doesn't seem to have a lot of horses, so I think that might make it clear that Littlefinger or Sweetrobin comes to help them.
I think they did that out of sequence to throw us off, but it really looks like The Vale is part of the battle.

The prospect of watching them launch your baby with a catapult is tough to swallow

It just bothered me bringing the Blackfish back just so he'd die in a shitty off screen sword fight.
I'm just surprised that none of the Hodors ITT have posted that the blackfish must still be alive since we didn't see him die on camera.

Yeah. Why have that moment between Jaime and Edmure if Edmure was just gonna roll over like that?
That scene was great. It showed how weak Edmure is by not having the courage to stand by his convictions.

The Hodors are beyond retarded.

And that is what I think is going to be the wedge between her and Jaime in the show. He'll find out that she was responsible for killing Tommen and he'll completely turn against her. And whoever said that they are opening the door for the Lannister army and Jaime to head North in the Great War to Come is definitely an interesting theory/observation. Riverrun isn't THAT far from the North.

I mean we could go on and on about the differences. Not a knock on the show, but they are clearly different

Psh, we also heard her say Mountain will trial by combat her arse out of trouble a couple times. Episode 10 will have a judge (cause D&D will say frick it and just throw a judge out there, black robe and all) slam down the gavel, then a quick cut to her hanging, then never back to KL. The end.

I'm still hoping that Brienne maybe stoked some good guy fires in him. I dunno. I think he intended to let the Blackfish go and maybe that would be his penance for the shite Edmure called him on. But now he's gone. And if Ceresi really loses her shite, depending on what happens it may cut him lose.
It's just hard to see where's it going to go at this point.

They've eluded to the wildfire in KL far too much here lately between Bran's visions and Ceresi's comments for it to not come in play again.

I asked earlier itt but do you think Varys still kills Kevan? It doesn't seem like show Kevan death would have as much of an impact seeing as how it seems that Tommen and HS are calling the shots.
Posted on 6/12/16 at 11:09 pm to BluegrassBelle
Tommen just sentenced her and Loras to death. All bets are off now

Agree but I hope not. I want Jaime to pull away from her realizing how bad she is for him, not be forced to by her killing his kid.

Arya getting stitched up by the actress has to be the most anti-climactic, sorry piece of writing the show has done.

If Loras dies there's no doubt the Lannisters will lose their last strong ally.
I think the chaos in King's Landing once Tommen dies will be a huge distractor from the Southerners believing the news about the WW.
I also think Yara and Theon will show up in E10 and hopefully take Dany and co. back to Westeros.
