Of course she's successful, but the level she's at has a defined ceiling and a short shelf life.
No one is beating down doors to beg Anna Kendrick to be the lead actress of a big budget Oscar contending drama.

Anna is a smoke show who has obvious talents.
I'm guessing Gabourey was a token nomination. From a virtue signaling Hollywoke that is only trying to pander to a niche fanbase so they can appear inclusive.
If one actress tests better than another in focus groups, that's how it goes. That's not a cause you stand for , protest and expect to change.
