I watched all seasons of x files in a 6 month time frame. It was great up to season 6 or 7. I forget which. But 8 & 9 were meh.

If you like fringe it would stand to reason you like the x files. Twilight zone is another recommendation and not that 80s bullshite

My grandmother was really really astute until she turned 80, I remember the good times. 7 was good but seasons 1-6 were extraordinary

I think i'm finally gonna start it. all my tv shows are ending no more school work and lots of free time. I stayed away from it mainly because I'm not to big on procedural shows but didn't you say it does have a little mythology to it?

It has a mythology to it. I prefer serial television but I defy you to tell me if the monster of te week episodes are not some of the best television ever produced

Season 1 and 2 look their age. Starting with 3, it gets to the point where you can't stop.

I watched a bunch of X Files at my cousin's house in Spain in 1999 when he was in the Navy and I visited him. They were on VHS

But damn, did I like the show. I don't think I've seen them all, so I may have to watch a few of them again. I did see the movies. Would you watch in order from 1 though?
