What’s everyone’s opinion on this movie? It’s been years since I’ve watched this.

Really like this movie. Just thinking about it brings back memories of watching this at a sleepover party at a friend's house in the 80s. Good and much simpler times.

David's future parents always freaked me out though. It was just weird.

ETA just saw where "David" was charged with bank robbery in Canada last year.

Great movie. Brings back great memories as a kid when your imagination ran wild.

One of my favorite movies as a kid. Hopefully, Paul Rubens can reprise his role as the voice of Max. And maybe get one of the kids from Stranger Things to play the main character.

Loved it as a kid.

And as much as I might hate myself for saying it, the movie is good material for a reboot for today's audiences. :ducks:

This movie and "Explorers" were my go-to get-lucky movies for date night. Definitely had a winning record.

One of the most important films for me when I was a kid. Had it recorded on two VHS's when I was a kid just in case one died out on me.

But I am not excited for this.

It seems like a lot of these reboots, specifically those aimed at the kid movies, are hoping to grab on to the same adventurous and wonderous feeling of some of those 80s films.

But they whiff completely on why those types of films worked themselves into our brains. Additionally, the world is both too jaded, and too informed (read: too much access to information) for something like The Flight of the Navigator to work again.
