They're definitely overdoing it. That's why I'm hoping Reeves doesn't use him until the third film. But that's probably wishful thinking.

You would think that a different cut of a movie wouldn't take 2 years to develop. It probably didn't take this long to make the movie in the first place.

They didn’t even announce they were redoing a huge portion of it until this past summer and it’s finished now soooo not sure where you are getting the 2 years to develop nonsense from.

Weren’t they claiming there was a Snyder cut back when the movie tanked at the box office? That was the big push back then and then they announced there would be a release of it. Now they are remaking the Snyder cut and adding to it and everything.

They never finished visual fx on the majority of what he filmed and they still needed to do some more filming for the regularly scheduled reshoots that pretty much every tent pole has these days. Was there a Snyder cut back then? Sort of, but not really.
