Exactly. The mindless destruction and loss of life was ridiculous

you can bet metropolis will be 100% completely rebuilt in the sequel though.

Swear to baby Jesus, I did. For about 30 minutes. My 5 yr old also took a nap.
I pulled up the arm rest to a 45, turned sideways and stuck my head in between armrest and seat. My brother screamed in my ear during a loud part and woke me up. a-hole.

I enjoyed the movie, overall. But I hate the fact that I had to sit through an origin story of a tale I've seen over and over again. It was done differently, but still, an origin story. I thought the Krypton scenes were the best part.

My wife HATED the movie. Thought it went on way too long and after panning out and seeing a completely destroyed Metropolis, Superman and Zod go all out and start brawling into buildings that weren't destroyed for another 10 minutes.

Unfortunately, I had to stay awake and endure until the end.

I fell asleep. Swear to god. I love super hero movies. I go to The movies an average once every two weeks, so I've seen some terrible/boring movies. But I've never fallen asleep. That movie was terrible and ridiculously boring. I slept for probably 45 minutes thank god

I found parts of it boring as well, mainly all of the extended action scenes, which got old fast. I didn't fall asleep, but I found myself losing interest quickly

My wife and I just finished watching this movie on PPV. We laughed hard most of the way through. This was worse than Superman 3 (Richard Pryor) and possibly as bad as Superman 4. What a CG suck fest.
