Fear the walking dead mid season finale

Who knows, no zombie Madison was seen.

I doubt it. I feel like they will bring her back eventually.

Dunno if they really killed Madison. Somehow I doubt it, but Gimple has ruined that show.

I do like the John Corrie character, but everythign else this season has sucked. Can't stand the Gimple go to device of telling the story in multiple overlapping time settings. Can't stand the journalist chick. Morgan's role has been stupid. Hate Laura/Naomi/June character. They gave a terrible explanation of how she ended up with the evil circus hipsters, who were the worst villains ever.

I didn't think Gimple was involved with FTWD.

He is an Executive Producer as of this season, and wrote 2 episodes. His fingerprints are all over this construct though. It is the way he tells stories.

Madison likely had her hair burned off and was badly burned by the fire, but lived. She will have to resort to wearing the skin of walkers and blending into their herds as a way to survive. And no talking above the level of say, a whisper.

Kim Dickens said in a couple articles that she was told pre-season that her character would be killed off. They say Alicia will be the alpha character now. There was no waffling about Madison's fate, so it would be verrrry shitty to bring her back.

I hated so much about this season, that started with good potential (Nick is dead! Cowboy guy!) then got all goofy with the alternate timelines. The big dramatic speeches at the end --- Madison about a bird, and the other characters taking turns around the fire talking about her in a very unrealistic manner ---were so lame.

And I never really understood why the Vultures gave a shite whether Madison and crew stayed in the stadium or not. They just sat around and waited, but then they unleashed walker hell on them. To what end? What was their motivation? It's not like Madison's bunch had a shitload of supplies. They were scrapping too.

Scott Gimple: I just read that there were new showrunners for this season but he was overseeing all of it in his new role as "TWD overlord".

Have they ever showed anyone siphoning gas or diesel? You know that gal with the big arse truck has to be good at siphoning to keep running all over the country in it.

Buy no stock in any Walking Dead franchise. The focus groups are shrinking along with the cast; the product is on borrowed time.
