Have been watching on Disney+ when bored during lockdown. Really so many to choose from but ill pick 5

The Homer They Fall
You Only Move Twice
Homer vs the 18th Amendment
Bart vs Australia
Deep Space Homer

My favorite single segment of a show was Troy McClure explaining how meat gets processed/bovine university.

There's No Disgrace Like Home

The shock therapy scene is my favorite all time Simpsons scene.

Bart vs Australia is another good one.

I’ve been watching in Disney plus and realized I may have never watched any from season 10 and later. I’ve got plenty of catch up.

(Former) Simpsons aficionado checking in. All time favorite is 7.7 King Size Homer. Below are my favorites from the first 10 seasons not including any Treehouse of Horror episodes because they’re always great:

- 1.9 Call of the Simpsons, the whole RV credit card bit kills me

- 2.5 Dancin Homer

- 3.10 Flaming Moe’s

- 4.3 Homer the Heretic, my second all time favorite. Very quotable episode.

- 5.9 Homer and Apu, who needs the Qwik E Mart? Their floors are sticky-mart!

- 6.1 Bart of Darkness, hilarious Rear Window spoof

- 7.7 King Size Homer

- 8.9 El Viaje Misterioso de Nuestro Jomer, beautiful animation, touching message, and a Johnny Cash guest appearance

- 9.1 The City of NYC vs. Homer Simpson, homer running between the WTC towers and driving with the boot on his car get me every time

- 10.13 Homer to Max, Maaaax Powerrr! The name you’d love to touch, but you mustn’t touch! Honorable mention goes to Mom and Pop Art, it has probably the funniest moment in the entire series when Homer is building the BBQ pit.

So many great ones:

Last Exit to Springfield--Homer becomes union boss.
Homer's Phobia--Homer meets a gay man and takes Bart to a gay steel mill.
The PTA Disbands--Teachers go on strike.
I Love Lisa--Ralph falls in love with Lisa.
Look, basically all of Season 4.

Deep Space Homer--Homer joins NASA.
The Last Temptation of Homer--Homer meets his new coworker, Mindy.
Ok, basically all of Season 5 too.

A Star is Burns--Springfield film festival.
Lemon of Troy--Bart and Homer steal back a lemon tree from Shelbyville.

Really, seasons 4-6 you almost can't miss.

So many great moments and lines, here's two.

Is there a more underrated character than Ralph?

- “my cat’s breath smells like cat food..”
- “go banana!”
- “dad says my nose would stop bleeding if I just kept my finger out of there...”
- “the leprechaun tells me to burn things...”
- “heh heh, I’m in danger...”

Part of the genius of the Simpsons is how many fantastic side characters they have. Ralph is great.

Chief Wiggum is fantastic.
Moe is super underrated. Barney, Lionel Hutz, Mr. Burns, Smithers, Krusty...they're all hilarious.

The Planet of the Apes musical.

The Halloween episode where Burns is a vampire.

When Mr. Burns unleashes the flying monkeys. So many memories.

I call the big one Bitey.

Marge: Homer, I have someone who can help you.

Homer: Batman?

Marge: No, he's a scientist.

Homer: Batman's a scientist.

I'll put this out there. Give me an episode from seasons 4-6 and I can quote it from memory.

Monorail, Who Needs the Qwik E Mart?, See My Vest, and Maison Derrière are all great. Simpsons had some awesome songs back in the day, Bob’s Burgers probably takes the cake today.

But to keep the thread on track...

Mr. Burns song that Smithers sings at the retirement party cracks me up too, but it’s a short one

EDIT: completely forgot Mr. Plow and Plow King! Great little songs too

The best song from that episode is Barney's Spanish langiage Plow King jingle with Linda Ronstadt.

Señor Plow no es macho
Es solamente un borracho
