I was enjoying it at the beginning but
SPOILERS
when Billy Bob Thornton's character turned into John Wick it started going off the rails. His character has become tiresome; we get it. he kills everyone he meets and nobody seems to notice he's walking around town. the 'plagues from God' stuff was dumb as hell. seems like he could have gotten the money from that guy alot easier than resorting to theatrics. also the scene where he takes out the entire fargo crime family and walks away with the cops & FBI both watching the building was cringe.
i did enjoy the deaf guy & the other dude but no way they would have left a loose end with Lester hanging around to finger them.
also lesters disappearing/reappearing act from the hospital was completely over the top. did enjoy seeing him ream out the stripper though.
its a bit campy and not in the spirit of the movie at all.
should i keep going? is it always this over the top or does it settle in and the writing improves?
