But then audiences didn't flock to the serious and tragic Hulk films. I don't think they'll risk getting away from funny Hulk anytime soon.

Also RJ handled the "big" nature of TLJ just fine. That movie looked amazing.
Where RJ failed was the "small" stuff, namely plot, story, and character. You know, the things indie directors are supposed to be experts at.

I've quit looking at reviews. Flipping through Netflix I'm not going to check the reviews to see if I'm going to enjoy a movie or not. Everyone has their own taste and likes. If you enjoy it then that's all that matters, right? Who cares if 52% or 99% of people liked it. There's a lot of movies panned by the critics that I love. There's also a lot of movies that critics love that I don't.

Some of the characters or the people that they cast to play them I should say just looked lame. I just don't get the whole one big family vibe, the Eternals of the comics weren't like that I don't think. Also, the way the deviants are portrayed in this movie as huge ugly looking monster creatures, I don't feel that either. About the only thing I liked looking at the trailers was how they displayed the Celestials, they looked to have nailed them.

I look at reviews because these days it's so expensive to journey out and watch a movie in the theater. If I'm going to pay north of $20 for a movie ticket and concessions, it had better be worth it.

Not sure which thread will be official review thread. The movie was completely unnecessary. You don't care about the characters even though they want you to. It is long and drawn out. Like I said in the other thread, the whole movie could have been condensed into a 10 minute cut scene for another movie.
I put it on par with Thor:Dark World which is not high praise at all.

Can anyone tell me how graphic the apparent sex scene is? My nephew wants to go see it, but he's 7 and I'm not sure it's appropriate or not. Didn't know about it until today. Thanks.
