They're definitely going for Avatar.
I hope they get it.

Also will now have a post credit scene
As long as it's not something we've basically already seen in the Far From Home trailers.

I was wondering if they were going to do this. Idk how much it will help, but they’re getting very close to Avatar’s figure pre re-release.

I would imagine that there are enough people who would pay to see it again just for the credits scene. Brilliant move on their part.

Avengers: Endgame Returning to Theaters Next Week With New Post-Credits Scene
They should be ashamed of themselves.
This is as bad as telling Iron Man fans that they'd have to buy the Thor DVD to see the real Mandarin ending.

I thought it was still in theaters?
They're still showing it at the AMC in Elmwood.

That is what Youtube is for
Although Endgame was enjoyable, it is not worth paying for multiple viewings. Will be on streaming/disc by end of Summer.

Isn't the post credits scene just a trailer or a clip of the new Spiderman movie?

He meant they are adding a real tease at the end instead of that stupid Spiderman trailer.

They should release a Director's cut to theaters. They would make another 2 billion even if it's 4 hours.

Then my decision to not see it the first time was wise.

Ah. Well I read that this movie will be on the Disney+ app when it is released later this year. I'm cool with waiting instead of paying for a second viewing.

Even if it passes Avatar, it would only hold the record until the Avatar sequel is released. I have no doubt Disney will do a re-release for Avatar to get fans excited about the sequels.
Avatar made money because of the viewing experience. A re-release of the original would make almost nothing. No one cares about the actual story, and the effects are nothing special today.

Who's going to go see it? All 5 people that care about the sequel?
The story is frankly terrible, and the newness of the effects is gone. Tell me why you think it would make much.

Everybody I know that saw Avatar has no desire to see any more of them. It was cool to look at, but 3D is yesterday's news.
