Anyone watch this? It just came out today and is on Netflix. It’s about two rebellious teens in England who run away from home and end up getting in trouble. Just finished the entire first season. Episodes are only like 20 minutes long.

I was pretty hooked on it to be honest and can’t wait for a second season to come out. Thoughts?

I binged the season last night. I liked it. I am curious as to how they would handle season 2. Does it have anymore to offer than a road trip adventure? IDK.

I watched this in one day since it is only 8 episodes and they are all short. Must have been originally planned for television? I really liked it. Not sure if there will be another season but they could find a way to make it work, I suppose. I could also see this being a one-off thing. Not sure how popular it is or will become.

Starting it now. Pissed it’s just sitcom length. I thought it would be an hour long drama

Personally I thought the format was perfect for the story and having that quick commitment will allow the show to really take off

The ending was a total gut punch tho. I loved the series and was really emotionally invested in the characters for what basically boiled down to a long movie in terms of length. Very well done dark comedy and I knocked it out in a day.

It's based off of a comic strip, and apparently the season ends where the comic ends. I think it's best if it's just a one season thing. The ending is very appropriate.

Seems like there's some steam to make a second season. I'd be cool with that either way.

I'm halfway through but find it funny as hell. The leads are really good at being both sociopathic and totally awkward teenagers.

Yeah, I kind of like how it ended. Selfishly I want more, but it works as a stand-alone story as is.

fricked up dark comedy, always awkward to laugh and some of the darker lines

she was way cuter as a redhead.

She was also pretty cute as Justine in Penny Dreadful.

I think it was mostly the accent that did it for me

I'm on episode 4 right now. Jessica Barden, the lead actress, is actually 25 which is surprising to me. Both she and the dude are killing it in these roles. She's particularly good.

I knew the white lady DC looked familiar. It's Yara Greyjoy of GOT. The male DC is Super Hans from Peep Show.
