So you've chosen the path of googling random shite to get yourself out of this hole you've dug. I can do that too.

Earlier he googled ‘disney underrepresented’ trying to avoid admitting he misread the bottom of the image in the OP as well as not reading both columns of the standards and came up with Asian Americans not Asians as part of their underrepresented in context of the Disney standards in OP. He probably still doesn’t realize that he again changed the details he is trying to argue in thread and just thinks he is doing well.

his earlier post:
quote:

Just Google Disney underrepresented groups and you get this as the top result from a Disney official page
quote:

Charitable giving that we report includes grants specifically directed towards historically underrepresented and protected communities, including the Asian Americans, Pacific Islanders, Blacks, Hispanics, Native Americans/Indigenous, and LGBTQ+ community, People with Disabilities, Veterans and Women.

Go read my very first post in this thread. It's the exact same quote I used later that you just quoted as me changing the details.

Can't wait to see a movie about the hardships of West Virginia coal miners starring Ellen Degeneres, Meryl Streep, James Corden, and Nick Cage

Did coal miners not have wives?

I can say I'm hiring a black character, then call in 100 actors to try out, and hire the most talented person for the role

Wrong. Did you not read the slide deck ? Black people (don't give me teh asian BS, we know why these standards were adopted) must have meaningful representation in the core of Disney's stories.

That means the entire plot has to be written taking into account a black person's experiences, dialect, agenda, etc.

Why do you think Asian Americans have Asian DNA? Why do you think Russians have Asian DNA? This should not be difficult to comprehend.

Thus the problem. The focus is on filling racial/gneder/etc niches instead of making quality the primary goal. By discriminating against such a large talent pool, you cannot claim to have hired "the best", only that you've hired the best out of whatever group(s) you've limited yourself to reviewing.

Also you fulfill those without including a single black person.

There are plenty of underrepresented groups to choose from

It's the very first one. 50% regular and recurring, plus overall theme / plot.

They aren't going to write a good story that could be played by any race--they are forced to write a story at the outset, which will bring their racial biases to the forefront of the narrative first and foremost.

If someone isn't creative enough to think of an underrepresented group other than black people, they shouldn't be creating a show anyway.

Please explain why Ariel is now a black female, Snow White is hispanic, Buzz Lightyear got a new black female sidekick, Iron Man is now a black female, the main character in Obi Wan was a black female darth vader ripoff, etc.

Why do you think that is? Because this is really about all the other "underrepresented" (overrepresented now) groups?

I've already proven that Russians are ethnically asian. Since Russia (or Siberia) was historically Asian, there is still a considerable amount of Asian DNA in Russian blood. According to a project by the National Geographic, about 24-32% of Russian DNA is Asian.

You didn't prove shite retard. You just keep googling stuff that confirms your small brain thoughts. Russians are not ethnically Asian. So I ask again, is it ethnicity or geography? You can't just flip flop to whichever one supports your current post.

You haven't been consistent.

Since when does Ewan McGregor identify as a black female?

Because the people in charge of those shows decided to use black characters. Pretty simple. If I wouldve been in charge those characters would not have been black.

are you seriously arguing Obi Wan was the main character in that show? It wasn't focused on Obi Wan whatsoever

it was all about Leia and Reva. Female and black female.
