Alas, poor Jessica, we knew her well. As the voluptuous wife of Roger Rabbit. They have their own ride at Disneyland. Which is being altered by removal of some images and overpainting Jessica with a trench coat and fedora.

It's magic: she's not in the trunk anymore.

Well. I guess I should get a copy of "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" while I still can.

They’re just determined to ruin everything, aren’t they?

Meanwhile, Donald Duck and Winnie the Pooh are still running around without pants.

If Jessica Rabbit was retconned to be a tranny, she would be front and center.

Heard about this a week or so ago and I already purchased a copy.

They will probably try to erase her or alter her in the movie soon.

First DVD I ever admittedly overpaid for. It was about 20 years ago, and I saw it in the music/movie store in the mall. It was like $39.99 and I wanted it SO bad. Ended up walking around the mall for a bit and went back in and bought it. I had the money, that was just a lot for a movie. But no regrets though. Love that movie.

Wait...someone will be here defending Disney shortly.

BTW, you ought to put together a list of movies you've bought lately in preparation for this happening to them. Be interested in seeing it and starting my Christmas list.

So it’s cool to have sexualized openly gay and transgender characters, but not sexualized attractive female characters?

Makes sense.

And the SJW twitter mob is claiming Disney is "slut-shaming" Jessica Rabbit.

When will Corporations learn. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Well, if she turns out looking like Kathleen Turner did, who voiced her originally, this ... won't end very well for anyone.

Remember, the book burning Nazis were National Socialists.

Progressives and Democrats are the modern day book burners.

Because they called themselves socialists, you think that they were really socialists?

Well their platform was promising everyone a job if needed by the State and a car.

Ergo Volkswagen ("the people's car")

Alas nobody knew that the promised job for most people would be as a soldier.

Yes, modern liberals have been working to kill this idea for years though. The Nazi's were socialists. They were also fascists and murderers.

quote:

When, in January 1933, Hitler became chancellor, the Nazis quickly began work-creation and infrastructure programmes. They exhorted business to take on workers, and doled out credit. Germany’s economy rebounded and unemployment figures improved dramatically: German unemployment fell from almost 6 million in early 1933 to 2.4 million by the end of 1934; by 1938, Germany essentially enjoyed full employment. By the end of the 1930s, the government was controlling decisions about economic production, investment, wages and prices. Public spending was growing spectacularly.

quote:

Nazi Germany remained capitalist. But it had also undertaken state intervention in the economy unprecedented in capitalist societies. The Nazis also supported an extensive welfare state (of course, for ‘ethnically pure’ Germans). It included free higher education, family and child support, pensions, health insurance and an array of publically supported entertainment and vacation options. All spheres of life, economy included, had to be subordinated to the ‘national interest’

Not just hate

Hitler was also the first anti-smoking zealot. He hated it.
