Disney unveils film schedule through 2027. Avatar delayed, 3 year break for Star Wars

Of note:
- 2 MCU films in 2020, with the cadence picking back up with 3 per year in 2021 and 2022.
- After Rise of Skywalker, the next Star Wars film won't drop until 2022.
- Avatar 2 delayed from December 2020 to December 2021. From the schedule, it seems that Disney will rotate between Star Wars and Avatar films in December of each year.

A lot of live action films.
They're probably making a live action version of all of the major vault movies.

I just need a live action Fox and the Hound. That is all. Make it happen Disney.

So they aren't going to increase the amount of comic book films?
I guess people can drop that narrative

Please be the D&D movies and not Rian Johnson’s

Are all the Fox movies for kids going to get a Disney logo slapped on them now or will they be marketed as a separate entity?

Exactly my thought. Look at all that oversaturation going on with comic books adaptations!

So Black Panther 2 must be the 2/12/2021 Marvel film?

There will be at least one Indiana Jones movie during the Star Wars break.

Why not? The stories are already written, the songs are already written... just add a bit to increase the run time and count the money.

That's like wishing to die by stoning instead of a firing squad.

My guess as to what the MCU will look like for the next three years:
2020 - Black Widow, The Eternals
2021 - Gaurdians of the Galaxy Vol 3, Black Panther 2, Doctor Strange 2
2022 - Shang-Chi, Captain Marvel 2, New Marvel IP (Young Avengers?)
You'll also get another Spider-Man film with Holland by 2022, as he's signed on for one more film after Far From Home - and since that's Sony Pictures, it wouldn't qualify as one of the "Untitled Marvel" films. Which means that you're looking at 4 MCU films in 2021 or 2022.

Shang Chi is 2021. F4 or X-Men is 2022.
