No Mighty Ducks either. That seems odd to me.

Angels in the Outfield and Mighty Ducks strike me as two movies that might be available somewhere else right now and will eventually make their way to Disney+

Disney+ may be exposed. Smoke and mirrors, but not much in the end.

those are on there already. I watched two of the Goofy ones on opening night and I know that Chef Donald is on there along with the one where Donald goes to the Andes mountains

I know people rightfully love Major League, Hoosiers, etc. but I think this is one of the more underrated sports movies.

This is probably the best argument for just releasing it out of the vault. People are building up a mid-tier film at most, as people always want the forbidden fruit. It's like how the reality could never live up to the myth of the Day the Clown Died, particularly in a post-Life is Beautiful universe.

It's probably best to release it, let people flip out for a month, and then we can move on as a people and go back to ignoring it like we had for 20-30 years before it became a Thing.

all 3 are on there i'm pretty sure. at least the first 2.

ETA: i just saw that i put them in the watchlist, but they won't be available till next year. I was wrong and I apologize.

we've watched Unidentified Flying Oddball, blackbeard's ghost (absolutely recommend,) Return to Oz, and Mr. Boogedy so far.

whoever said it's a bunch of smoke and mirrors is crazy.

up on deck for the watchlist is mighty ducks, invincible, sister act, willow, gus, ADG, ADGRA, rocketeer, tall tale, computer who wore tennis shoes, miracle, rookie, white fang, shipwrecked, davy crocket, ugly dachshund, three muskateers, snowball express, luck of the irish, heavyweights, newsies, treasure island, million dollar duck, treasure island, bedknobs and broom sticks, cat from outer space, camp knowwhere, absent minded professor, flight of the navigator, freaky friday, parent trap, escape from witch mountain, return to witch mountain... etc etc etc. our family couldn't get through that before the end of year if we wanted to. and i'm way more excited for that than anything outside of lost in space or the irishman from netflix.

that doesn't even include watching any Marvel or Star Wars movies.

At least there is Darby O'Gill, and the Little People. The Banshee's scared the crap out of me when I was young.

That movie has become a hipster thing for Southern Middle Aged Conservatives (I am one of these BTW)

It isnt that great of a movie, but it has become all the rage to complain about not being able to watch it (even though its very easy to watch it)

My Patagonia vest wearing friends all texted each other right when disney + launched saying "No song of the south, no care"

I remember going with my grandma to the old Bon Marche mall to watch this when they re-released it. I was 4 or 5.

It’s the Cuban cigar of movies. Not really any better than others, but has the cachet of being forbidden fruit.

My wife’s favorite movie. It creeps me out insanely.

I think it comes from her love of the whole series. I never read anything beyond the first.
