Dish Network vs Direct TV vs ATT Uverse

I am possibly looking to change my provider. I have had Dish Network since 2006 and pretty much have had good service from them. I basically have all the pay channels and full stations. I pay around $210 per month
Of course recently we have lost HBO and Cinamax and it does not look like there is any fix in sight. I have old equipment installed and am in need of a update anyway.
We have 3 boxes that run 5 TV's. All have DVR. Looking to keep the same set up. I am currently using U-verse for my internet and home phone. Maybe a bundle with them is the best way but I am not necessarily looking for the cheapest thing. Id like to have all the stations and good service
Does anyone have experience with these multiple providers? I have had good service from Dish and need to upgrade to the new stuff anyway but if I am never going to get HBO and Cinemax back, I want to change

If you bundle DTV with your Uverse, you’ll pay way less than $200 total. I have DTV on 6 TV’s plus internet 1000 (gigapower) & pay $160. HBO is free & I do the medium channel package.

Id like to have HBO, Showtime, Cinemax and Start. Plus the EPiX channels
Do you have those?
Thanks for the response
My internet and phone are around $80

I only have HBO, but the others are available. As a new customer, they’ll probably throw them for free or extremely cheap for a year or so. My package doesn’t include phone though.

I hate to keep that because we do not have a home phone but my alarm system uses it and I dont want to stop using it

Phone companies have to keep a phone in your house in order to provide Internet, by law.
Power companies must provide power to your home in order to provide Internet, by law.
Which one is easier to control and offers a better price?
Phone companies now offering Internet and Cable or Sat TV typically try to rape you.
Power companies providing fiber optic are usually the best deal then you simply smart TV or Roku every TV in your house using Sling or Hulu.
Sling is owned by DISH btw and they are very customer service oriented and have good packages to offer.
If you're getting what, 1GB fiber optic Internet from someone already ... then you don't need any cable or sat provider. Cut the cord. Say frick off to the land line. You can do anything and everything through your fiber ootics for much cheaper and, btw, you don't need 1Gig x 1Gig. 300x300 or even 600x600 is all you need and they are both a lot less.
Alarm systems are cheap and most these days use wifi as primary and major carrier cell Simm a backup when the power is down.
Also, invest in a good APS or other battery backup and you'll keep your WiFi up and running even in a power outage.

I switched to Uverse over the summer because Cox was pissing me off. At first I liked it, but now I'm starting to get a little annoyed. I'm paying about $60 less than Cox, and I'm getting more channels. But, the Uverse customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Since their boxes are wireless, any boxes that are not on your main TV are receiving their data from your main box. For some reason, all my other tv's have a hard time receiving the signal from the main box.
I have called them multiple times about this, and their fix is always to reset my boxes, which doesn't fix the issue.
Apparently their technicians are overworked, because every time I've had someone scheduled to come take a look at this issue, I get a phone call the day of the appointment basically saying "oh, we need to reschedule. I am still at another appointment and I won't be able to make it to your house today."

you get what you pay for with Dish. It's fine, but they have the fewest HD channels. I am also not a fan of the Hopper/Joey setup. Receivers in additional rooms run off of the Hopper in the main room. If the Hopper breaks or is reset, you can't watch TV on the Joey.
I was also angry with Dish for advertising the Hopper 3 all over their site but they installed a first generation Hopper. When I asked them to provide me with the new one, I had to pay like a $150 upgrade fee.
