Spin off from the sexiest scenes thread..

Watching some of those clips made me realize that Tarantino uses some amazing obscure songs that I've ever heard, and they fit into his movies with perfection.

2nd would be, and I may get knocked for this, but the Guardians of the Galaxy movies have great soundtracks too. James Gunn director. Don't know really anything else he's done.

While we are on soundtracks, I found it funny that both Kingsmen 2 and Lucky logan, both featuring Channing Tatum, also both have Country Roads take me home as a major plot device

Released like a month apart from each other

Everything Hans Zimmer does for Chris Nolan makes me go blind from sudden unsustainable ejaculations.

I'm gonna go with David Fincher just bc the Trent Reznor scores are amazing.

Darren Aronofsky and Clint Mansell put out some very good stuff together like The Fountain and Requiem for a Dream.

Scorsese always has good soundtracks, even if the Rolling Stones may be overused in them.

Refn and his 80s synth scores are good. Plus the karaoke song from Only God Forgives is GOAT LINK

Wes Anderson has good soundtracks.
Scorsese is hard to top though. The Mean Streets soundtrack is incredible.

Both the Cohen brothers and Scorsese use good music and know how to use it well in their movies.

Paul Thomas Anderson is up there for recent directors.

Boogie Nights - epic (first movie I thought of when saw soundtracks)

Magnolia - awesome

Punch Drunk Love - beautiful
