What exactly is the crime? The looting? The response by the state and federal government?

Yeah I don't get it. Looks like we're getting another show by Ryan Murphy with a strong first season that goes to shite immediately after.

I'm pretty into Katrina documentaries, etc. but I don't get how this fits into the "Crime Story" series. Sounds like there will be a good deal of political spin which will be a put-off

Yeah, I have no clue how this fits into the "Crime Story" mold. Hopefully that's not in reference to what went down in the dome

Next 2 looks cool though. Season 3 is going to be Versace and 4 will be the Monica Lewinsky scandal

If it's anywhere close to the quality of the last series, I suspect he's going to be a prime target.

And they've already got the next 2 seasons after that planned:

Season 3: The Assassination of Gianni Versace
Season 4: The Impeachment of William Jefferson Clinton

Yeah, it should portray how inept Blanco was, but I don't see how this fits the bill of a "crime story".

The actions of Blanco and Nagin should make W look like a hero in that situation.

But I wonder who a Ryan Murphy TV show will portray as the bad guy..........

Yeah, he's been mostly involved in bullshite, but it surprised me how straight they played the last one on portraying exactly why he got off.

Well if they accurately document the breakdown in state and local government then this should be interesting tv.
