I'm midway through my 3rd watch that came about through the Hank thread a couple weeks ago.

I'm noticing the facial expressions ad body language more on this watch. There are so many small little details I'm just now picking up on.

Great show and acting.

I was 3 hours from finishing my 2nd rewatch when that thread appeared.

Love the show, one of the Goats if not the goat. I have my own Goat but I understand why people think its the best.

Just finished my third watch of the series and my mind can't stop thinking where will Vince Gilligan go next? I have to think Better call Saul will be wrapping up this season so it will be time to expand, maybe? There were several loose ends from BB that could be built on.
-Jessie, what becomes of him. Does he ever return to the hillbillie's camp and retrieve all of Walt's cash?
-Skyler and Walter Jr. what becomes of them.
-Greymatter has potential to play into a new plot line.
-What becomes of Brock?

Personally I See Jessie featured as hitting rock bottom in Mexico somewhere and then using his money for good purposes such as an orphanage or something and having to fight his past demons both physical and mental.

As much as I love the BB universe, I'm not sure there's more to explore after BCS. What Vince does so well is develop characters - the plot lines are suspenseful and intriguing, but the magic of the two shows are the characters. We fully explored Walt and saw a lot on Jesse. Saul Goodman (plus Mike) worked as a spinoff because he was just a minor character on BB and was fully open to being developed as a major character on BCS.

If we focus on Jesse, we either see him ride off into the sunset as a new, good person (which would be boring) or we see him go back and get the money, fall into hard times, and repeat the same storylines he faced in BB (which would get old quickly).

Nope.

Also if you think about it, better call Saul can actually turn onto a sequel from a prequel.

I think that's what he's going to do, especially since we have had Post-BB scenes since the first episode of BCS

Vince said last night BCS might go all the way to exploring Gene.
