The show always does that on purpose though. Did the same thing with Ali a few times, where Johnny walks up to some dirty blonde only shown from the back or side...only for it to not be her. It's cool when it does that because it's recognizing the tongue-in-cheek factor that the show has and basically making fun of itself for it.
ETA: I agree that something is way off about Tory's face. It drives me nuts because I can't pinpoint what it is. She has a very uncanny valley thing going on.

Finally finished.
We really get get Silver and maybe Barnes to complete the callbacks?
Daniel and Johnny on good terms but bullshitting on each other are still the best moments of this show.
Tory is a sociopathic bitch. Has been from the outset. She got a thicc arse and some titties but damn. She frosty as hell and needs the book thrown at her.
Robbie is still an annoying arse wipe and I blame 50% of it on the actor.

I feel like Ali can be sprinkled back into the show later if possible. She's divorced now - she talked about her kids who just so happen to be the same age as the kids on the show. Maybe Ali will move back to LA now that she's divorced and no longer has all the connections to Colorado.
I hope she comes back again - Daniel and Johnny need to keep having tension between them as the show progresses.

I think it’s because Peyton List is not a very good actress. It seems like her face is constantly in these unnatural expressions to play the role of this unambiguously evil character whom the actress is not. But, she’s not good enough for her natural expressions to not want to shine through. So, everything comes across as forced and just slightly off.

Sam was a lot bigger in S2 than S1. And marginally bigger in S3 than S2. Yasmine also put on a little weight, but she needed it.
Also, whoever said Demitri had a hair lip. Does he? I know something is off about his mouth but I don’t think it’s a hair lip.

So I’m halfway through season 3 and holy crap all the adult story lines are just so freaking good. How the writers dealt with the Japanese trip story line to save the La Russo car business was great. The bad part of the season so far is the kids. I really wish they could go back and get some better actors. They are all just mostly terrible and it doesn’t help that their story arcs are not near as good as the parents.
