This maybe be the first time I’ve ever seen this episode, I do not remember. It actually holds up pretty well. It has an “Ocean’s Eleven” feel to it.
Gotta thank the production company for saving money by not buying bras for the Angels.
Bonus, a very young Tommy Lee Jones is in it.
Jaclyn Smith looked smokin in the leather.

This episode was the topic of a deep and intense critique at the following day's high school cafeteria round table.
We had Shepherd's Pie that day.

Charlie's Angels aired in 1976. I was 9 years old.
Even at 9, I knew I was witnessing something magical. That something was three of the hottest women on the planet at the time, not wearing bras.
Farrah was my focus, but as I've aged, I've gained a huge appreciation for Kate Jackson. She was the sleeper hottie in my opinion.

I didn’t realize Jaclyn Smith’s second toes were so long as opposed to the big toes.
I couldn't. I just couldn’t - regardless of her look back then. Ugh. Ewww.

I think it's more of a case of the big toe being bent inward due to a life of wearing fashion shoes.

Objectively, the prettiest of the Angels in the classic sense. Farrah appealed to the dudes that gravitate to the dumb, sexy blonde. Jackson (and I always had a little crush on her) was the brainy tomboy for the more intellectual crowd (and, I suspect, the LGBT+ audience).
But, Smith was just blessed with incredible aesthetic genes - this is a relatively recent picture (January 2022, on the left with her son and she is 76) that she modestly credits to good lighting:

She will not be 77 until October of this year.

It was 1976.
L were just ugly chicks who couldn't get laid
G were just really opinionated interior decorators
B was a mystical unicorn
T had not yet been diagnosed yet

Episode 2 or 3 "Angels in chains" is the best. The get very wet as they escape through the swamp and the water is cold! It was life changing in my pre-teen existence!

Meh - you say that, but Barney Miller premiered in 1975 and SOAP started in 1977. It obviously wasn't overt, but in hindsight I can see lesbians identifying with Sabrina over the other angels. NTTAWWT.
(ETA: As for the T, Dora Richter went under the knife in 1930.)
(EFTA: As for the B, a figure no less esteemed than Richard Pryor asserted that almost everyone in Hollywood in the 70s was bisexual because of cocaine - Brando, Jagger, Bowie, Pryor himself, all famously have anecdotes, along with many, many others.)

I was 13 when it first aired and I was probably in the minority in that I preferred Jaclyn Smith over Farrah. Not that Farrah wasn't fine of course, I've just always preferred brunettes, even back then and still do now.

Cheryl Ladd was the best by far.

Growing up in the 70s... the Angels, Wonder Woman, and then of course Electrowoman and Dynagirl and Mighty Isis on Saturday mornings...
Good times indeed.

And yet you omitted the lovely Lindsay Wagner...
Wagner being the oldest of the "Big 3" - born in 1949, Erin Gray in 1950 and Lynda Carter in 1951.
