Charlie's Angels flops hard at the box office

Another SJW project has gone awry for Hollywood as the latest attempt to indoctrinate the masses with tales of climate change and girl power will finish at just $10.5 million at the box office this weekend. For comparison, the other two Charlie's Angels filmed opened at $40.1 million and $37.6 million respectively. Both of them finished above $100 million at the domestic box office. This politically correct reboot will be lucky to reach $35 million.

A lot of us don't know the details of this latest one. What did they do specifically to be PC, and that didn't fit the canon? It was always a girl power franchise and that's popular if the actresses are hot. Or even average like Linda Hamilton.
The Cameron Diaz one didn't use guns (intentionally) but had some funny scenes.

The trailers looked awful. If the trailers are bad, you know the movie will be bad.

Charlies Angels has been around since the 70s. How is it now a SJW project?
Only problem with the female casts is most of the time the women are outspoken progressives in real life, and we associate that.
If Charlies Angels has Kristy Swanson and other conservative women in them, I dont think you'd have a problem.

Reading the reviews, the film goes absolutely overboard on feminism and social issues.

The Charlie’s Angel films in the 2000s was campy awesomeness. Had a great cast as well(Besides the main Angels you had Bill Murray, Sam Rockwell, Bernie Mac, Tim Curry, etc).
It was silly and funny and sexy and just a fun movie to watch.
I have no interest to watch the new one in the theater. I just don’t see the 3 actresses in the new one coming close to having the chemistry that Lucy, Drew, and Cameron had in the 2000 movies.

2. Deemphasis of sex appeal. The corner Stone of Charlie's Angels DNA has always been sex appeal. This film actively downplays it.
3. The misc shoe horning in of awkward dialogue about women being marginalized and climate change and shite.
I can't believe people can watch the trailers, read the reviews, and listen to interviews with the cast and still play dumb about the film's clumsy attempt at wokeness. They were openly celebrating the thing you deny exists.

SJW or not it just looked like a bad movie. Judging by the box office and reviews it is a bad movie.
The all female Ghostbusters reboot that died a grisly death at the box office was like that. You could have swapped in a bunch of guys to play the leads and it still would have stunk.
Progressive, conservative, Raving Monster Loony Party, or what have you... first and foremost make a good movie that people will enjoy.

This trend will end soon. As loony liberal as Hollywood is there is one thing they worship more and that is money. I predict that in the very near future they will eschew this political pandering and return to the seeking of the dollar by whatever means necessary. Ot they will go broke.

Not all of us search for things to get outraged about.
I had no idea a Charlie’s Angels movie was even out. The marketing for this movie must have been terrible.
