I highly recommend it.

Very much disagree.
It’s about 30 minutes of interesting and 3.5 hours of “web sleuth” idiocy.

I heard some co workers talk about it. Watched it and was disappointed. It is trying to reach for something that is not there. I googled the girl and the case. There was no need to do this documentary or to have it this long. 1 episode that is 90 mins long would have done it.

Im in middle of second episode and am enjoying it.
Edit: first 2 episodes were good. 3rd was bad. 4th was terrible. Honestly, it started off good and got progressively less watchable..
Still an interesting story nonetheless. The worst part imo is the internet group acting like detectives and like they were her childhood friends or something with all the emotions they were displaying.

Maybe the worst “documentary” I’ve ever seen. 1.5 episodes in and I could tell it was shite.

This board pretty much universally dislikes it. While I think there are some decent aspects to it, I ultimately agree. It’s just a big bait and switch the way it’s presented.

I found the Ghost Adventures episode on the hotel more entertaining. The "documentary" just kept pulling a bait and switch on the audience. But that one Youtuber was definitely a serial killer.

The "Doc" was terrible
It was painfully obvious from episode one that the girl had mental issues, yet they tried to take you down a retarted conspiracy theory wormhole in ep. 3 (almost unwatchable), then episode 4 just shits on episode 3's theories

This!
At BEST that could have been a 1 hour to 1:20 show about the dangers of mental health and wierdo internet losers. Instead, it was four hours of contrived, ridiculous, conspiracy theories to try to make this a Scooby Doo mystery. It was awful

Yea it was way too long....and plus the whole story was driven by a lie (or what they call a mistake) told by the police. There is no story without that.

Dumb conspiracy theories about a woman having a psychotic break.

"I need closure."
- guy who stumbled on the story on the internet, never met the woman or knew of her prior to reading the story.

What really made the internet run with it was they they with held the information about her illness.
