Castaways premiers August 2nd on ABC

ABC has really been advertising this series. Cant tell if its more along the LOST set up but in a reality show or more like Survivor. Could be good, depending on the participants. Not really sure what to expect.

The bigger guy on here is one of my wife's friends older brother. He apparently lost a ton of weight while on the show and then kept it up when he got off the show. Has lost almost 200 lbs total. I was at party with him last fourth of July and saw a recent picture and it doesn't look like the same guy at all.

Well, the only thing I can really say about this show now that it has aired is
Motherfricker !!!!!
Not what I thought it was going to be. Just horrible. Man I had my hopes up that it would be entertaining

yeah, i was hoping for something a little better. and actually "survival" thing. The previews of upcoming episodes just looks like a survivor ripoff.
i would have stayed to myself and no way i would have gone out looking for other people.

I had reasonably high hopes and it was a huge let down. I thought it was gonna be straight up people on an island, trying to adapt, trying to survive. I don’t give a crap about the melodramatic backstories. The fat dude having daddy issues and that’s why he eats was so cringeworthy. The chick not being able to have a career a boyfriend was zzzzzz

Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much story telling.
It's a melodramatic reality movie show. There's a first for everything I guess but it'll probably be the last episode I watch.
