Captain Phillips - So is this movie completely full of shat?

Seems to be a huge feud between the crew and the Captain of what really happened?
I just watched Captain Phillips on Reelz and it's pretty much shitting all over the movie.

Nope. The movie isn't 100% accurate, but the real Phillips has never claimed to be a hero.

Sounds more like its 100% false. I understand movies that are "based" on real life events.

Phillips is going around public speaking and getting paid massive amounts of money to do so when there is a lot of speculation that he threw his crew under the bus.

i think that part is true about taking all 3 pirates down at the same time.
the fourth was on the destroyer already trying to get medical attention to the cut on his hand and he's rotting in jail right now.

He's never claimed he is a hero. That was the news media and Hollywood. His book is honest about what happened on the boat. Not even the link I gave you above claims he has made himself out to be a hero.

The article linked said the family of the one surviving pirate tried to say he was under 18 so he would be tried as a juvenile, but he finally admitted to being older
