Captain Marvel was an awful movie

Bottom third in the MCU. It seemed like they rushed this movie out to beat Endgame. I think MCU shot themselves in the foot by adding Marvel to the Thanos story. Probably would’ve been better off having Marvel show up in Endgame without the backstory Marvel movie.
As far as why Captain Marvel was awful:
1. Brie Larson was terrible. Haven’t seen her in anything else but she comes off as a terrible actress
2. It seemed like the plot only existed to tie into the Thanos saga. Marvel is best when they are “creative” and make their heroes stand on their own.
3. Very slow and boring. Yea Avengers movies get a lot of shite cause nothing’s ever at stake, but this movie really felt like nothing was at stake. Very stale.
4. The Rambo girl and Nick Fury being able to breathe and survive in orbit with no special equipment irked me. They just had to throw Rambo in there.
What I like:

But it doesn't bother you that a pilot was infused with alien blood and was exposed to an explosion from a mythical stone that allows travel through space?

I saw it last night. I was expecting to not like it. It wasn't bad. Middle of the pack for MCU.
I liked it better than Iron man 3 and Doctor Strange.
I like that it tied in the first Guardians movie as well.

I feel like men hate on this movie just because it had stellar reviews from female-driven groups.
I'm not saying it's a good or bad movie, but this seems to be a trend.
